My Dream
Candy the owner had a passionate dream about owning her own childcare one day and we have been searching since Feb 2015 and in March 2015 we came upon this beautiful little childcare center in the leafy suburb of Berwick, the center is surrounded by tall green leafy trees and we knew this was the one we wanted. Since then we have put in a lot of effort in building up the environment and making this a center where families can feel safe and secure to bring their precious children to.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support and develop children’s strengths and potential through a child-cantered, emergent, collaborative teaching and learning environment inspired by nature and driven by children and families.
Berwick Twinklestar Early Learning Centre’s unique philosophy recognizes the benefits of providing a holistic learning experience for our children in a caring, enriching environment supported by skilled, knowledgeable and passionate Educators who value families and the community.
Meet The Team
Owner/Director
My name is Candy Feng, i have 15 years experience in operating a childcare centre in Australia as well as overseas. I opened this centre in 2015 and really enjoyed getting to know the children and the families around Berwick. I have a great team of Educators who are always willing to learn with the children.
Centre Manager
My name is Hayli Tong and I am the centre Manager at Berwick Twinklestar Early Learning centre. I have been in the childcare industry for 9 years. I have been in this centre for over 5 years since it was opened in 2015. I hold an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management as well as Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment. The best part of my job is building relationships with children and families.

My name is Sharon Field, I have a Diploma in Early Education and Care and I have worked in childcare for 25 years.
I have run rooms for 0-3yr olds and am currently running the Pre-Kinder room at Berwick Twinklestar as well as enjoying my role as Educational Leader and as 2IC.
I believe that early childhood settings should be a place where children can connect with the natural world and where children can play learning and learn playing.
Kinder Teacher
My name is Monika Sharma. I have been working as a Kindergarten Teacher from last 7 years and have enjoyed every minute of my time with the children. I have done Masters of Teaching in Early Childhood from Deakin University. I strongly believe in the Reggio Emilia approach which has a very strong, rich and powerful image of a child.

I have been working at Berwick Twinklestar ELC for the past 4 years.
I am diploma qualified and currently studying my bachelor of education at Deakin University.
I work among all age groups and love watching each child grow individually.

My name is Marzia Hakimi. I have worked at Berwick Twinklestar Early Learning Centre since 2015. I am a qualified diploma Educator. I work in all the Rooms, I love working with children and i will value and develop each child's strengths, interest, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning. I believe that children learn through play. I will provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, creat and imagine.
